Mod Cooking Guide

We have 3 mods that let you make foods you may use in game - Animals of Atlas, Lady's Farming Mod and R.P.Edditions.

Custom recipes can be crafted in any stove or cooking pot.  Put a blank note plus the exact amount of the ingredients you want to use into the stove/cooking pot, and use the option to create recipe.  You can customise the icon and write your recipe name and some fun instructions. Different ingredients will give different buffs, so experiment!

 

To cook custom foods you have a recipe for, place the recipe and the required ingredients into the stove.  You can also use the "pull" function (the icon that looks like a cloud with an arrow under it) - type in the number of items you want to make, select the recipe and click the "pull" button to pull exactly the right amount of resources you need.

 

The RPE stove is recommended for cooking, as it does not require a water source!​

Want to know how many crops you'll need to craft all the Quest food items? To craft all Lady's, RPE and Basegame recipes, you will need a total of 45 crop plots (25 Lady's, 10 Basegame, 10 RPE). The Lady's berry crops do not grow in small plots, but the RPE and Basegame ones do (which saves space) - so you'll need 37 medium/large and 8 small plots. The most space-efficient way to do this is to either use S+ triangle plots (Which take up less space than large plots) for everything other than the Basegame berries and RPE blackberry, and/or use halfwalls and ceilings to make stacked plots to fit more crops in a smaller area. Don't forget you can use an S+ "Gardener" (powered with beer) to collect all the crops for you and store them inside the Gardener - so you will only need 1 of each crop if you have a Gardener to continually harvest for you. To keep her powered the cheapest way, always keep an S+ brewing barrel making beer with a stack of basegame berries and a stack of thatch.

Note: Lady's crops produces a LOT of the resources, but uses a LOT of fertiliser, so keep that in mind.

Trees  – Trees are placeable objects with sizing options, that will produce the crops over time. They do not need fertiliser or irrigation.  If using trees for decoration and not needing the crops (or if you have enough crops), please disable the crop production (radial menu) to help reduce server lag.

Notes:

RPE crop sticks and greenhouse plants can be used to give greenhouse effect (makes crops grow faster) without needing a greenhouse.

RPE bucket works as an infinite water source, snap a tap onto it to irrigate crop plots.

 

RPE stove is the best stove to use in the game as it will craft all the vanilla recipes, doesn't need water, crafts dyes with only fiber (no need for berries etc.), and makes the RPE choc chip cookie/icecream/jerky
